In 1976 when Wolfgang moved to Brisbane, he had a vision for a jewellery shop that would give people the opportunity to purchase unique hand crafted jewellery. It was in this year that he opened the first "Xennox" in the City Plaza.
In 1980 in response to an increasing demand for high quality jewellery Wolfgang opened a second Xennox shop in the Cavill Mall in Surfers.

In the years that followed and with the expansion of the city, Wolfgang moved from the city plaza to the Wintergarden in 1982 where he stayed until 1999.
In 1997 Wolfgang and Karl decided to consolidate the shops and focus on providing high quality hand made engagement rings. This saw the new Xennox Diamond World open at their larger upstairs showroom on the 2nd level of the National Australia Bank building.

In September 2005 Xennox Diamond World moved to the centre of the Queen St Mall. Their central location above Jo Jo's continues the relaxed atmosphere customers have come to enjoy. The entrance to the new location is in Albert St. Near Burnett Lane.
